Background
Fixed-price assessment

Know where you stand before you spend.

In two to three weeks, we review the systems that run your organization: the software, the data, the security, the hosting, and the people and vendors who keep it all working. You get a written report in plain English: what’s at risk, what to fix first, what it will cost, and whether to repair, replace, or leave each piece alone. One fixed price, and no obligation to hire us for the work.

Which assessment fits?

Legacy Systems Assessment

For organizations running on aging databases, spreadsheets, or custom software no one fully understands.

  • What runs the business today, and who understands it
  • Data, backups, hosting, and security
  • Repair, modernize, or replace, with cost ranges

AI Application Audit

For apps built with AI tools, by a contractor, or by a developer who has moved on.

  • Authentication, secrets, and access control
  • Backups, tests, and data handling
  • A plain-English report of what we found and what to fix first

Technical Due Diligence

For buyers, investors, and boards evaluating software they’re about to acquire or depend on.

  • What it is, and what it will cost to own
  • Where the risks are: people, code, data, contracts
  • A summary you can take into the deal

What you receive

  • A findings report
  • A prioritized fix list with cost ranges
  • A one-page summary for your board or leadership
  • A 60-minute review call

What it is not

A fixed-scope review, not a penetration test, a security certification, or a guarantee that an application is secure. Your engagement letter lists exactly what is reviewed, what access we need, and what is excluded.

For nonprofits and public agencies

We can scope a technology assessment or modernization plan for a grant application, with defined deliverables, a budget, and implementation priorities. Eligibility depends on the specific funding program.
